You might check the set screw on the motor pulley. I had the same problem (found the ss in the bottom of the pan. Realigned and locktighted the set screw and It is working like before.bigted wrote:I too am having issues with my power pro! I sent the videos to Brooke who forwarded them to Engineering - came back with no determination as to the cause could be made and I needed to send the headstock in for evaluation and hopefully repair. Brooke sent me a FEDEX return that was supposed to include a Box that did not arrive. I called Shopsmith and was told that they are out and do not know when they will be made! Waiting for a reply on that! In short, I have been put on hold for quite a while but the people that I have talked to have been polite and try to be helpful unlike some other businesses that I have dealt with! My issue is that I don't want to continue to use my Shopsmith for fear that I will do some serious damage to it! So, I'm looking for some urgency on their part!
