ShopSmith Dolly

Ten plus years ago I was visiting my father in-law in Boulder Co. and met a gentleman that lived in a same retirement community. I was introduced to him to him because my father in-law had told him that I had a Shopsmith. Each resident was provided a single car garage space and this fellow had used his to set up his work shop. He was very proud of his Shopsmith and showed me many projects that he had made over the years. He had stored his Shopsmith attachments on wall shelves next to the Shopsmith base. I noticed several of the attachment had collected a lot more dust than others (like they were not being used) When I asked if he had stopped using the attachment he said that he had to because they had become too heavy to lift. I asked if he knew where he could get a small block and tackle. His comment was; “yup, in that box over there … why”. Long story short by placing an eye bolt in the ceiling and attaching the small block and tackle he was back in business.
Moving ahead to today I now live in The Villages Florida, a very large retirement community. I am utilizing one of my garage car bays as my workshop. The last time I used my jointer attachment it had gotten heavier; or, maybe I’m getting a little weaker. I remembered the man I had met years earlier and decided I needed to solve my lifting issue before it became a problem.
The attached photos will show what I came up with. I thought that I would send this out because more than a few of us Shopsmith owner are getting a little older and if this helped me it may help others. It cost less than $50 to build because I already had a spare half sheet of plywood. I just want myself and others to keep making sawdust as log as possible.

I am really disappointed! I thought I was going to see a pic of a cute girl.
Can you show us how it is used?
On another thought maybe I can and visit. I am in the Plantation which used to be twelve miles south of the Villages but now we are only 10 miles south. The Villages keeps on moving south!!
