In the Life article it mentioned the family was running 4 tools at the same time off the Shopsmith. With the mother buffing the car and daddy throwing sawdust, I doubt she would be buffing long.
I do like the movable bench he has it mounted on with "an ice cream maker"?

Yeah...she in a dress and he wearing long sleeves. How about the extension cord(s). Is that a Studebaker she is polishing?

Looks like a Ford to me. Possibly '49 or thereabouts.

In the early days of Magna the Model 10 came with a set of blue prints to make that bench and some accessory holders. Also the girl is spraying her wagon but there is no compressor mounted.

The sprayer attachment (Air Compressor) didn't come out until after the introduction of the Mark 5. Also the flexible shaft is not the Shopsmith one and it does not look like the Craftsman one I have. I have two Shopsmith ones and they are shorter and neither the Shopsmith or Craftsman ones have a handle at the end of the shaft. How is the buffing pad the boy is using attached to the Drive Sleeve Assembly? :confused: That will put a shine on your shoe. I guess I will wait for the ice cream to be done.
