Band Saw Box Demo

Post by RobertTaylor »

On February 8, 2020 I did a demo for The Buckeye Woodworkers and Woodturners on making Band Saw Boxes. Even though the Club has a decent 14"Delta I chose to take my own Shopsmith band saw. If interested take a look at the write-up in the Club's newsletter

Do you have your bandsaw on a stand or did you have to bring a whole machine?

Good to use machines you know and maybe good pr for shopsmith.

I haven't made a bandsaw box in years, should give it a go again this summer, maybe the one like the log you did.

Have you shimmed the table to make the blade perpendicular to the table 'front to rear'(tooth to spine) or did you only check for table 'tilt'?
