Jointech items in photos

Post by reible »

This post will contain a large number of pictures of Jointech pictures all collected in this one spot. They are all ones that at one time were on my Flickr site.

The first two post have what I like to call router insert details. The remaining posts will contain various other things so look for yourself... "it's a collection".

Only 18 views on these first 6 picture shown. Again they are in the Jointech information but this is also good for general knowledge so it wouldn't hurt to look at them.

Here is pictured a ring that is too large for say a 1/4" bit. You have several options to reduce the hole size.

This is one of the optional rings that shows the opening around the bit like you would like to have it.

This is a brass reducing ring, it is the same standard as the pc template guides but is flat and designed to reduce the opening around the bit.

This is the ring that lets you use template guide bushings. This is the standard called "pc" or "PC" that is used by Porter Cable

router insert details

The jointech table showing where the mounting plate sits. Phenolic material

This is on the bottom of the plate and is used to snug the plate into the opening and keep it tight. It is called a "snugger". You can also see the bottom of one of the 8 set-screw used to level the plate in the table

Jointech add-on's

Post by reible »

This next bunch of 12 photos have to do with add-on's for the Jointech system. Again these are Jointech items but you may find some ideas that you could build for your system based on what you see here. If nothing else think of it as general education.

Table Featherboards

Normal and Jumbo Faceplates (the jumbo is the add-on)

VPF Coping Kit

VPF Guard on Fence a bonus feature

Fence Raiser

7 more to go on this subject.

Wasn't there a song that went "I am a rock..." Simon and Garfunkel back in the mid 60's???
