Now that I can post pictures again here are two screen shots of what I was seeing. That is just the first two screens of the page. There were 5 or 6 full screens in the entire page.

The problem was if I clicked on the User Control Panel link at the bottom of the first picture there was no link to the Board Preferences. Ed's direct link got me there so I could change it and it worked. Thanks again Ed!!! :D

I know nothing about the bug. But judging from the other browser tabs, I’d sure like to go to John’s place for dinner!

:D :D :D You would certainly be welcome. I wondered if anyone would notice. Hooper UT is famous in the state for tomatoes. We have a festival in the fall called Hooper Tomato Days. I have a neighbor that leaves 3 or 4 tomatoes on my front porch every 2 or 3 days. I cook every day. All fresh ingredients. I was looking for new ways to use tomatoes.

I am hesitate to declare my problem "fixed" but I am pleased to be able to say that right now I do not have that problem. I removed the Firefox browser and then reinstalled it. The current version is newer than what was on my computer but I had been using that version for ages with not a hint of this particular issue. At any rate, seems to be operating normally.

I have absolutely no idea how this relates to what was happening in the Shopsmith forum while all my other applications worked fine. Whatever it was I am glad that it is gone. I was about to switch to FB for Shopsmith updates.

I am on the Release channel updates. I think you get releases before others. I have 81.0.1 today.
How do you get on the Release channel?. I don't know, I have been there for years. I am sure somewhere there is a way to change your update channel. I know there is a beta channel also so you get beta updates when they are released.

You can always check if FF is up to date by clicking on Help and then About Firefox. It will say up to date or download the latest version.

And mine says 81.0 and mentions an update which I will turn loose after clearing all the stuff currently 'taking a break'.(MINIMIZED)
