While we're on the subject, this doesn't look properly aligned to me. I followed the instructions I found in the forums as well as the SS video for placing the belt, but it looks to me like the top of the belt should move one slot towards the left. Am I crazy or does that sound reasonable?

Go towards 1200 to increase belt tension. Apparently you need more tension(slipping/deflection).

I think you are correct, the belt should go right one tooth on the drive sleeve pulley.

I agree the belt looks raised on the right. However the third groove is the 'nominal' groove(subject to varying opinion). I would be concerned with positioning of all the drive train pulleys.(drive sleeve and idler sheave)
