The rail diameters and locking hardware are the same, but the SS 2K floating table is about 3 1/4" wider and 9" longer than a MK V 510 table. (If this were baseball, I know what people would be thinking; a performance enhanced table - it's not natural.)

Thank you, Dennis. Exactly what I needed to see. You answered my question while at the same time tweaked my imagination. Would need two or three 2000 tables but who knows what I might find.
Do you have a parts breakdown for the 2000.

Wow! A couple of those and you would have a work surface on the SS that would be the envy of everyone.
SS should take the mold and modify both the 2K's main table and floating tables to fit on the SS Mark V perhaps a model 530. I would think they would need something to connect the trunnions to on the main table and some way to connect one of the floating tables to the Aux table legs.
Think about it more than enough room in front of and behind the blade so that infeed and outfeed tables would be needed less. WOW!
But But But Then it would take up more room than a BICYCLE!:D

In the space of a bicycle. That is really a laugh because I almost always have my shop-built outfeed table installed. This increases the foot print considerably.
I'm on the lookout for the S2K tables. Those are neat. Shopsmith engineering dropped the ball on this one - unless, just maybe this Mark V Model 530 that I have been hearing about is going to take advantage of design work already done.
If they do that, instead of taking up the space of a bicycle it'll be the space of a Harley Tricycle.
