We recently acquired a Mark VII, but it doesn't have the key. Does anyone have a picture of what the key looks like or know where I could find one? I know nothing about this machine and will likely be looking to sell it. I highly doubt that it's actually complete, but am not sure what to look for. Would appreciate any pictures, literature or information of what it should have and/or what I should be keeping an eye out for. Just last week we came across something in a metal case that we didn't know what it was. Turns out it's for the Mark VII. It was my mom's husbands machine and we're going through everything in the garage. Unfortunately he passed away, so we can't ask him anything about it. I'm including a picture that shows no key, a general picture and our most recent find in the metal case. Thanks in advance for your time!

Re: Recently acquired Mark VII with no key
Food for thought! viewtopic.php?t=11984
I can provide a key(duplicate from original)
At first glance it appears 'mostly' complete.(I do not see the drill chuck)
There are twp items of concern:
Condition of the bench tube rail gear rack an the speed control cam. Both are plastic(nylon?) and are highly susceptible to being damaged(either by time or excessive heat.
P.S> You might want to look for the extension/auxiliary table viewtopic.php?t=12649

Re: Recently acquired Mark VII with no key
Thanks for the links. Just lots going on right now trying to get his garage cleaned out, but had to start somewhere on researching the Mark VII. A duplicate key to try would be great! Just let me know the cost. Do you have a diagram or owner's manual page that would show the 2 items of concern that you mentioned? It seems the owner's manual can still be ordered on the Shopsmith site, unless someone has one in a .pdf or something they've shared in this forum. If not, do you know if it's a pretty thorough manual? I have more pictures or can take more if there is something that could help determine if anything is damaged or missing. Not sure if we'll end up keeping it, but didn't have any idea where to start on pricing or making sure it's complete. Don't want to offer something that's not complete. We were just thrilled to find the part that we did in the carrying case! Thanks so much for all of the assistance. Glad I came across this forum.

Re: Recently acquired Mark VII with no key
I found the post for serial number dates on the Mark V, but nothing for the Mark VII. Is there a post or information for confirming the date by serial number on a Mark VII?
