WOW I see thee be waaaay ahead of me!

The drawing closely resembles the aluminum cam I bought.

Some differences in an 'extra' 3d cam I have.

I am assuming where dual dimensions are used, they refer to the upper/lower limits.

I have come to the conclusion that the problems I had with the aluminum cam are the result of the center bore being canted.

Yeah, that roll pin thru-hole is a significant contributor for flaws.

I’ve had my doubts on the accuracy of the CNC parts made for me years ago; since the thru-hole needed to be drilled via a special fixture. Although all indications are ok, I’ve had no way to confirm it.

The 3D printing, I’m hoping to have made, should be a relatively good comparison between the 2D blueprint values and a physical prototype results.

I will still need to do some calculations based on the 3D CAD model back to the 2D drawing values … to see if the 15 RPM per 1 degree travel, is consistent.

The bore I was referring to is the hole for the knob shaft.

YES THE CAM "WOBBLES". That created interference with the cam follower interior sides.

I think so(unproven by actual use assembled).

Do you have any 1960’s Magna American Corp. blueprints available?
