Customer Service

Post by backhertz »

Wondering if something has changed with Shopsmith Customer Service?

Last year Shopsmith had a sale on the Powerpro 2 upgrade.
I have 2 Mark 7s with the first Powerpro upgrades.

Thought I ordered one , but never received an acknowledgment email. After you reach a certain age, thought I maybe dreamed the buy & figured oh well.

Guess what? I actually did. Discovered the charge on our Mastercard statement while doing our 2025 taxes.

Looked back in my email & lo and behold, have an order number and a change on Aug 5, 2025- but never received a shipping confirmation- nor did I get the upgrade.

This is a first in 30+ years.

Don’t want to throw any stones until I can make contact with a human being in Shopsmith.

I only have the 937-890-5197 number. I also sent an email- no response.

Is there any other way to reach someone? Will give em more time. It’s only been 7 months. Few more days won’t matter.

Tony,

The phone number you listed is the only one I know of. Shopsmith USA has been working since the beginning of the year to get back up and running. One of the goals the new CEO Andrew Deutch announced at the beginning of the year in an interview with Scott Markwood of My Growth Rings was to get the orders filled that had been paid for and stuck in limbo when Shopsmith LP shut down last September. Keep trying to contact Shopsmith for a resolution.

Apparently Shopsmith doesn’t read these posts. Haven’t heard a word.

Generally speaking, no. This is almost entirely user-to-user

If you're on FB, try posting to the Shopsmith Owner's Group. I see official Shopsmith replies to comments there
