Found them in my Shopsmith bits and bobs collection

My guess is original bandsaw guide bushing screws. Left over after someone updated to the new bearings, as they come with new screws.

That must be it - I upgraded the bearings a few years ango and must have kept these. Thanks!

Although the Bushing type are original to earlier Bandsaw Guides, I don't recommend using them since they are a high maintenance item to keep them working properly and more important, quietly. That being said I do have them, and even the original plastic ones, on early Bandsaws that I have restored to original condition. These of course are not my primary Bandsaw. It has the current Auto Track and Guide (sealed) Bearings.
The Bushing type ones are below. They use a brass sleeve, a similar idea, as is used on the Model 10 Speed Changer's Pulley assembly. They require frequent cleaning and oiling.

As I recommended for actual use the current Backup Bearings are shown below. Two of the Bearings are mounted together for the Auto-track Guide. The Upper and Lower Guides use a single bearing each.

Be careful if buying bearings from other sources. The two Bearings placed together to make the Auto-track set must have the outer sleeve part tight together otherwise the blade can get stuck between the bearings. The correct assembly is shown below.
