A 2nd Table fixed my delimma

Post by Gene Howe »

Haven't seen Ed R. posting for a while, but he tried to help me with a very aggravating problem I had. I wanted him to know how I fixed it.

My Jointech Saw Train and router table set up makes it extremely difficult and time consuming to do the dado operations and, impossible to make bevel cuts.

Due to the Saw Train's rails, the SS fence cannot be used at all. So, I got a 2nd table from Bill Mayo. Now, all is right with the world and I can use the SS fence. It's so much simpler to change the table than to be constantly adjusting and re-adjusting the Saw Train. :D :D

Hi Gene,

I'm still here but I'm now cut back on posting.

I'm really glad you got everything worked out, sounds like you have the best of both worlds.

For those interested the old thread is at:

Yea I see my total is up to the limit of 50. I'll have to clean it out again I guess... I'll try to get to it this weekend.
