To answer your question: I can see both pictures fully and simultaneously AFTER I scroll to the right slightly. In other words, I still have to scroll to the right, but once I get both pic's in view, I can see them both without scrolling back and forth.mickyd wrote:These two photos are 375 pixels wide each (~750 pixels wide total). billmayo, ed in tampa, and a1gutterman should be able to see them without scrolling. They have monitor resolutions at 800 wide. Can you three gentlemen see these side by side?

Internet Explorer 8. Just updated to that when I was having my "can't view the Shopsmith Videos" problem. http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=i ... orm=IE8SRCEd in Tampa wrote:Chuck

My wide screen laptop which is what I use the most is at 1440 x 900. That was not on the poll chart. I have not followed this too much since I just never have any problems seeing pages.
BTW, I NEVER use IE. I use Firefox and have for some time. I do putter with Safari and Google Chrome.
I am running Vista on two computers and cuss it constantly. I have three other boxes running 3 different versions of Linux (Mandriva, Simply Mepis and Ubuntu). So far I am not smart enough or patient enough to get my Verizon wireless modem running on Linux so I am stuck with the Vista for now. I'm going to buy something like an imac g4 just to learn it and may move that direction next.
I'm just glad that this forum works so smoothly...

Hey farmer - In seeing the actual responses for the number of people who's resolution was not an available choice in the poll, I decided that I will do a new poll at some point with different choices. Sometimes it takes data to see what direction to go as in this case. I have to admit that I was VERY surprised by the higher first resolutions people are using. i.e. 1920 by 1200 paul heller, 1680 by 1050 reible.
