For some reason I am no longer getting email special emails. What's up wit dat? I'd of bought one of these. But I will cut S some slack as I understand staffing took a huge hit. I know, much to my wife's chagrin, I have spent a small fortune here in bringing all my headstocks up to almost new.

I think Shopsmith should offer it once more to those of us who either missed the boat or the boat just never showed up.

Thank you.

I agree that a few more days introduction is always nice for new products. I was a bit surprised that no one posted here regarding this Jewell on the day of introduction. As I prepared to do so I noticed easterngray had done so on the 6th. Being one who is sold both Shopsmith and Incra I purchased this guide from Incra before their public intro. Yeah I was lucky enough to be communicating with one of their people ahead of the intro. Buyer beware if you order from Incra you will not receive the Shopsmith hold down. I have tried to figure out a simple way to add that to mine without luck. I can't wait for the Shopsmith enhanced version to arrive. On the other side of this discussion I would love to see Shopsmith add heading to this discussion tool titled "New Specialty Items From Shopsmith." What a great way to be certain the faithful receive first notice of our favored upgrades. Jim

Great idea. An informational non-advertising post would be appreciated by this reader. For that matter, go ahead and advertise.
Hope SS is reading:D

Agreed Bob yet as a professional Salesman I believe that the advertiser never ever gives the customer an opportunity to miss an opportunity to see his goods and buy them. The box you refer to switches between messages frequently enough to drive me nuts. Thus I ignore it. Jim:D

If you are using IE7or greater or FireFox (maybe others also) you can open a new tab and have Shopsmith.com/ownersite/ open. The top middle has a link to all current email specials. Most of the time the are posted here about the same time I receive the email. There have even been a few that appeared there before I received the email.

Any page. If you wait long enough, the area that advertises the ShopSmith DVD there is a chance to click to see current email offers.

I used to click on those but with the single exception of Email Offers they are so repetitive. I hardly ever click there. I get the emails, most of the time so I just sorta "wait for the mail".

Sorta like when I was on active duty on an island in the south Atlantic. The most important thing that ever happened was the "mail plane". I wonder, is it like that these days or has email taken offer that "so important role" of communications from the home front.
