I went for the HF belt, there was a 5' there for $22.95 at my local store. It was suprisingly from a US company called Jason Industrial. We shall see

I am glad you got what you wanted! Stanley is an US company, but many of their items are manufactured overseas. Are you saying that your new belt was manufactured in the US? If so, kudos for finding it, and double kudos for finding it at Harbor Freight!

According to the website, the only manufacturing facilities that Jason Industrial has is in North and South Carolina... I was suprised to see an actual brand name at HF.. well something besides chicago or some crap like that

what are the belt sizes for a 10e with a speed changer
i would like to get some new belts but not sure what the sizes are
henry has a large stock of belts of just about any size
i havent used the speed changer yet but i have a really good set of directions
im also wondering if there is a video of how to use it

26" and 22". Long belt on largest main shaft pulley for low range, long belt on motor for high range. Largest pulley toward BOTH motor and main shaft.

Turn the crank to change speeds. Do not force at extreme ends of each range.

Pulley alignment critical. Motor/main shaft pulleys adjusted to line up with speed changer pulley flanges with the sliding center flange 'centered'.

The belts that came with my recently acquired 10E are 1/2" and are Gates 6822 and 6826.

Only the largest or smallest pulley(4" or 2") are used in the cone pulleys and the speed changer sheave results in a 1.7" to 3.5" variable pulley. <<edited sc diameters
