Enough said.

I just finished typing about a page and a half trying to show how this could all be done better. Better for users... AND... Better for Shopsmith. When I went to send it - it disappeared from my computer. Obviously I did something wrong but I'm going to take that as a sign and SHUT UP on this subject.

Now you have gone and made my curiosity bump grow to almost the 'bursting' point!:D

I've got a love/hate relationship going with the Shopsmith sales. For example right now I am planning on getting the drum sanding set with a post-online purchase discount. I also want something from the Father's Day sale, but nothing from the Overstock sale. So I'm waiting to see what will be included in tomorrow's sale before I order.

What bothers me is that I keep having to pay shipping over and over and over again in order to take advantage of the sales. I'm sure Shopsmith is doing what works best for them and it makes marketing sense. I'd just prefer a month's worth of sales all at once so I could make one big order instead of playing the wait-and-see game.

Yeah, I know I'm a whiner.

I do not hear the USPS complaining!:D If you want a 'monthly' shipment, make a 'monthly' order! I have been accumulating my items to be ordered list for a coupla months now! Fortunately none of them is 'urgent'.

If something 'urgent' crops up, the entire list will be ordered(and maybe some other stuff[Power Pro?] as well).

The problem isn't that I'm impatient. The problem is that the sale prices are only good for a few days. I wish Shopsmith would allow me to order the sale items and ask all my orders to be saved up till the end of the month and be shipped together.

Maybe that was part of Dusty's 'recommendations' that mysteriously disappeared!;)

I doubt SS wants to become a holding pen for customers PARTS! That they partially ship is an indicator of that. Too much exposure to vanishing like Dusty's creation when the time comes to ship it all!

But for those of you who are not familiar with SNL (Saturday Night Live) my current signature is a twist upon a very famous skit featuring Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken. The premise was that when Blue Oyster Cult was recording their 1976 hit "Don't Fear the Reaper" the producer felt the song was lacking something. Thus the semi-famous line "I got a fever, and the only prescription...is more Cowbell!"

I placed an online order for a goodly number of items late on Sunday afternoon. I checked status today and was very pleased to see that the order should arrive here on Friday. It shipped on Monday arrived in Vandalia on Monday. Just like the Good Ole Days. Order filled with no back orders.

I would bet that your order did not include a 520 flip up fence stop, 555808. I have been waiting for thatand a couple of little itemsfor 2-1/2 months.
