It's Halloween - Show off your Frankensmith

Post by damagi »

Here is a thread for you to post photos of your frankensmiths. Does your Mark V shorty have a reversible motor? Does your Mark VII have 520 tables and rails? Whatever it is, lets see it =)

I'll kick this off - here is my secondary shopsmith. Its a greenie, cut down to be a shorty. The table is off of a Mark VII with the trunions reversed.

I have a Mark VII motor that I may drop in this unit at some point. If I can find a cheap enough Base Assembly then I will attempt to convert this so that it will tilt both ways.

This is number three- It's a dedicated drill press \ planer storage cart. I used the cut tubes from my shorty project (number two). Planer is also a great counter weight.
