Here is my cheaper version or "I don't need no stinking jig". I didn't figure I needed a permanent jig as I don't sharpen my gouge every day. This a temp setup on my workbench. The grinder tool rest could have been left in the normal position and the grinder is not plugged in as these photos were to show the layout only.

Oh ya?? I don't need no stinking jig OR a grinder!!! I've developed a method to hang the chisel out my drivers door and drag the chisel on the road as I drive into work.MikeG wrote:Here is my cheaper version or "I don't need no stinking jig".
