What kind of Bandsaw blade is this?

Post by still_waters_43 »

I received this blade with a Bandsaw purchase I made. The teeth(?) are slanted to the RIGHT ?.... all my other blades the teeth are slanted to the LEFT!.

Can someone tell me the purpose for this blade?

Turn the blade inside out.

How wide is the blade? It looks like a resaw blade.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

I think beeg is correct. It is a resaw blade. When you mount it, just make sure that the teeth (on the cutting side of the wheel) are pointing down.

Go with the PowerPro. You always need a good backup plan. What if you forget this info next week and the forum goes away. :D
