It works today (13:42 on Dec 09, 2010)! Thank You(from us all!) It is much more legible than 'current' one!;)dasgud wrote:you're welcome. However, for a few hours my server is down for some upgrades. I expect that it will be back up by about 10 pm tonight (fingers crossed).

Just about anywhere! If they are pinned, you can push it out. IIRC they be about 5" long.gpartin wrote:hey all sorry its been awhile , wondering if everyone got the manual I can scan it as it looks brand new was in plastic..............let me know
oiled up the jigsaw and turned it on without tightening the top knob and snapped the blade ...where can i get new ones?
Dasgud has a good scanned copy, but he is currently having 'server' problems.
If anybody needs a copy b4 he gets back on line, PM me with e-mail address an I will send a pdf of it.

I am having problems, but I brought the old server back online now. You can see the pdf here. It will pop the manual up in .pdf format, but it's a slight bit slow.JPG40504 wrote:Just about anywhere! If they are pinned, you can push it out. IIRC they be about 5" long.

BTW: I really like the jigsaw.
Stay safe everyone

Jigsaw Use
I keep a jig saw without the arm or the top half that is easy to store and mount. I currently have the jig saw table mounted. I have adapted a few 500 main tables along with the 500 fence to fit the jig saw but sold the jig saws. I use it for both wood and metal work with the proper blade. I have a set of files made for the jig saw that is quite handy for finish filing on metal and some small rasps that I adapted for wood cutting with this jig saw.
This gives me unlimited size of material (long as I can hold it) that I can cut or file.

Thanks for the manual scan. Much, much better than the one floating around the web.
I was able to pick up a jigsaw off of Craiglist as a package deal with a strip sander. Did not excite me too much at first but I enjoy using it. It works much better than one would think.

Yea, it's a great tool and fun to use. I like it more than the band saw for some things because I can pull back and redirect my cut without pulling the blade out of the guides. Even though I never used it as a scroll saw I can still get inside a closed shape by pre drilling.cincinnati wrote:Thanks for the manual scan. Much, much better than the one floating around the web.
