Sorry about the bad quality. It was taken with my phone because I can't find my camera.

It only seems to be removing the rust on part of it. I just started it like 20 minutes ago. Is this normal or will it cover the whole thing eventually?

Let us know how it's going in 23 hours and 40 minutes.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Cannot tell from your pix, but where is the sacrificial anode?

Realize the reaction is 'line of sight'. That is between the space separating the anode(+) and cathode(-).

You should have the anode(+) lining the entire length of the 'box'.

Yeah I have a 2'' wide piece of steel running the entire length of the tube. It's working now. I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right so I didn't have to wait 24 hours to find out that it didn't work. Thanks.

Might want to rotate the tube as you go!
