I also thought of cutting this off as I find it a safety hazzard in my small space. Can't remember why I decided not to and might have to revisit this thought.

I will wait a couple weeks to see if you come up with a reason. Dusty stumbled on the micro adjuster and laeving space for it in case I ever buy one.

That is a good point, I have considered getting one of those and need to leave enough space for it. Would you mind measuring the micro-adjuster?
