Tailstock Knob 10ER

Hi all, it seems I am missing the 'Tailstock Knob' that allows on to affix the tailstock to the base plate arm without having to have the extension table in place. Anybody know the specs on this item? I likely have, or can get, a bolt of the appropriate size without resorting to ebay.

The thread is 1/2 - 13, the length is 1 3/4" with threads to 1". If you have the long table bracket, a small head(like a cap screw) otherwise one of the big aluminum headed screws will work.

Derek,

I happen to have a bolt with knurled knob which meets that description that came in a box of extras with my Goldie. It is a 1/2"-13 bolt, 1 1/2" long. After JPG confirmed a few of the parts in that box were for the 10ER, I suspected this was one. I downloaded some literature and found it fit this style of knob.

Here is a photo. The threads are somewhat worse for wear but they grip and hold after being cleaned up a little. Say the word and it's yours. I would be glad it found a useful home. PM me if you are interested.

This place is great where is in this crazy world do you have people doing stuff like this for others? Makes me think our race may survive inspite of itself.

Hey ddvan and jpg, you guys are great. Texas is a long way from Vancouver, so I think I can source something locally. I'm not doing a full restore, I just want to turn some things.
