Answers like this to a legitimate question are the reason I don't post on this forum very often any more. A lot of you guys need to back off a little on your SS zeal and realize that this is, after all, a woodworking forum also. Maybe you all should quit eating so many sour grapes...

I have some parts for the 6" dado set if you are still in need. The arbors are available from Shopsmith and are often on Feebay at quite a discount.

Now wait a minute... If a dado set is missing both side cutters and the chippers what is there? :confused:

Precisely what I feel. I wish I had been the first to voice an opinion.

It seems that there might be still others who are posting less. Might this be the reason?

That post was in reply to a reasonable statement to that effect(it may be materials, not 'parts').

Yes I tend to be mis-interpreted quite often!

As far as where to post if you are looking for something.... wing it. If it's for maintenance or repair put it in there, for wood and hardware probably the community area. My $.02
1984 Mark V 500 and an early 1954 greenie. jointer, belt sander, bandsaw, jigsaw, planner.

I just figured out our problem here it's all this beating of the head on the computer. it gives me a headache just watching. No wonder some are insulted, Fjimp says only half in jest.:eek:
