So this past weekend, I had two fawns in my back yard. A young white tail deer gave birth to twins, which is a rarity. Unfortunately, I think momma gave up on the weaker of the two. It was left all day on Saturday alone and momma and other other one were no where to be found. I have not seen it in the last day. I don't think it made it. :(

I did get a sweet picture of them though. I will have to upload it later.

There's been a lot of deer being killed on the highways over the past couple of weeks. Sure can mess up the front end of a van!

Maybe if they would take down all of those "Deer Crossing" signs they would quit crossing so much... :D

It took me a very long time in life to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. When I did it turned out to be "retired". :D

If you take down the falling rock signs you risk angering a very old Indian chief. As a kid when riding in a car with my father he took great delight in explaining those signs were placed as a reminder to help the chief find his long lost son named "Falling Rock."
