I just stumbled upon a customer service program that just might give Shopsmith a run for their reputation. I have a LazyBoy Rocker with two broken springs.
I learned that LazyBoy provides a twenty year all parts warranty. Labor to repair my favorite rocker - $60.00. Not bad.

I also like Gerber customer service. I had a multitool that I broke the plier jaws on but it was 4 years old at that point. I called them to ask what the closest model was to what I had so I could buy a new one as I liked it so much. Instead they sent me out new jaws, the spring package to replace them and lock them in place, and a new case for the tool. Free of charge, no shipping, just here you go have a nice day.

Farmer, do you carry your camera in a holster, ready to shot at a moments notice?:D That is some quick shooting to get that shot, unless of course you DVR'd the weather that night]

I carry a Gerber. Nice knife but it gets lost too easy.
I think it needs a chip in it so I can track it down to where I laid it down last.

I know what you mean. I will lose the knife or multi tool for weeks and then find it in a random spot. A chip would be nice for sure
Random realization of the day. So I have been building this parade float for a while and have it fairly well framed in now. I have been studying pictures of a model someone did of the LTV as well as a few pictures of the real thing. The angles are not that great and I was having a hard time figuring out how some of the things tied together.
Yesterday, I came to the realization that there are two fully 3D models in the Call of Duty Black Ops game that I have played with friends off and on for the last 8 months. A 3D model has been stairing me in the face and I just noticed it. I had to laugh but at least now I can complete some of the framing that I was confused on.
