It was 105 degrees in my shop this afternoon. How long can this weather last? (Oops, that's that other thread, isn't it?)
'55 Greenie #292284 (Mar-55), '89 SS 510 #020989, Mark VII #408551 (sold 10/14/12), SS Band Saw, (SS 500 #36063 (May-79) now gone to son-in-law as of 11-11), Magna bandsaw, Magna jointer 16185 (May-54), Magna belt sander SS28712 (Dec-82), Magna jigsaw SS4397 (Dec-78), SS biscuit joiner, Zyliss (knockoff) vise, 20+ hand planes, 60s Craftsman tablesaw, CarbaTec mini-lathe, and the usual pile of tools. Hermit of the Hills Woodworks, a hillbilly in the foothills of the Ozarks, scraping by.

Who says you have to give the bride away? I may let him marry her, but she will always be my little girl!

ROFL. But right now that would suit Momma just fine. She's only been gone a week, not even back from her honeymoon.

Don't blame you, Dave!:eek: When living in South Texas, everyone washed their cars by taking a towel or two and wiping off the dew. They had dew 365 days/year.

Now in the desert - we have 365 days without dew. Even had 350 days two years ago without a single cloud in the sky, but only got about 4" or 5" of ppt.

Don't have to worry about anything rusting!

It is supposed to be 90 here most of the week. I don't feel like working outside on my float at all in this heat. For the love of God, cool down so I can finish it.
