Can understand your misery! That ame weather system lurked around here all last week. Damned Monsoon!:( That was the first time in a long time we had any heat index reading here. Usually 103 is simply 103, and with a wind - that ain't bad. Just stay in the shade.

Hey, 103° is just an average summer day here from mid June through August and maybe into September.

I love 90° summer days. If that happens along with a little breeze and maybe a light shower it is heavenly.

Throw in some 50/60% humidity for good measure.

Some years ago we had a spell of 100+ weather with high humuggity and they went nuts warning everybody to stay in the AC even if it required going to the malls or a library etc.
My son and I baled hay... :)

I could say, yeah, well that's a dry heat but I know better. I lived in Colorado for a summer and when it was hot it was hot. I guess I am just a sissy :D but I don't like working outside in the sun in 90 degree heat when I can help it.

Luckily though, it is only supposed to be 87 here today. Much better
