And the miter bar for my newish v120 is NOT countersunk! Now, to seek replacement or attempt a repair on my own.....

Nope, holes not countersunk in the latest version being shipped out from SS. A little drilling and all is well.

It took me over 2 hours to figure out how to get around that mounting screw head before I finally gave up and found it doesn't really make any difference. Here is my very first attempt at using my 6 inch stacked dado to cut some box joints. I think I'm ready for the big time. I'm going to build a box for all my scrap wood.

My V120 arrived later this afternoon. I checked and could not snug up the miter bar. Again the holes were not countersunk.

IBox Issue

We have found that there is an interference issue when mounting the rear blade guard, we are supplying a brass plated T-bolt to replace the left rear hex bolt. This t-bolt will arrive in the about 10 days and they will be sent to all that had previously purchased the Shopsmith IBOX. I will be included in all future Shopsmith IBoxes also.

Nice to know there are still companies who value customer service more than a quick buck. Shopsmith is another example of how good customer service earns you a lifelong customer. Lifelong bucks > quick buck (unless you sell garbage and would lose the customer after one sale anyway). :D

Thank you for clearing that up. I had invited a Incra person to join in our conversation so I thought you might have been him.

It is nice to have another shopsmith person posting here again, be it your job or common interest in shopsmith we value it.

BTW Mark from Incra indicated they had a thin head bolt coming my way as a solution for rear guard issue. It looks like shopsmith is going a different way? Or are the two the same solution?
