10E pulley-cover bolt size?

Post by enyoc »

anyone know the thread size/pitch for the bolt holding the 10E/ER pulley cover to the headstock? Anyone want to sell one for a couple bucks? Thanks!

Bought, restored and sold a 520 before I knew what I had (and should have kept) - Now I found religion and I'm working on restoring a 500 and a 10E.

They are cheaper at the hardware store.

3/8 - 16 x 1/2 square shoulder on the head. Cap screw with washer will work.

JPG: I couldn't find any 1/2" long 3/8x16 at the usual retail outlets, but the folks at Fastenal hooked me up. (posting this in case anyone is looking in the future)
