Shopsmith Mark V, part 75 came loose

Hi All,
My 42 year old Mark V worked perfectly until a small piece, part 504187, loop, retaining, reference # 75 on the parts diagram, came loose.
Does anyone have information on how it is reattached or how it looks when reattached?
Mine may be bent as the two legs are not parallel now. Is it supposed to have parallel legs?
Thanks for any help.
John Hubbard

A side question -- can an image be added to a post? This is my first post to the forum. Thanks.

For quick reference, this earlier thread might be the best one to look at:
viewtopic.php?p=316191#p316191

and another:
viewtopic.php?p=182375&hilit=504187#p182375

and another:
viewtopic.php?t=1843&hilit=504187

This is an important component. Others here on the Forum will respond soon to explain how this part is installed.

There is a "sticky" thread near the top of the Community Forum that explains the process of attaching pictures. It was started before the forum changed some of it's options, but has been updated as the options changed.
