What a sign!!!!
WOW! Beautiful sign, Gary! Your intarsia looks terrific, as usual. Don't know how you did the painting, but that doesn't matter. It is simply gorgeous!:D

Pretty much so. Each segment is cut like a puzzle out of blocks of basswood. Then the pieces were individually sanded to reduce the thickness and rounded with a dremel. After painting the face of each piece the puzzle was glued onto the redwood backing. The bats and leaves were cut on scraps resawn to 1/8 inch. The moon and clouds were 1/4 inch stock, also from scraps. It's time consuming, but allot of fun.navycop wrote:I have the same question. Is it like a puzzle with the pieces glued in?
