Good to know. I'm one of those guys who only likes to fix it myself if it is fun to fix, or if I don't care if it becomes disposable.

That page was there before Shopsmith, Inc. went out of business. I thought I read where all the factory-based work was no longer offered.

I haven't called them yet. But for instance the picture of somebody accurately setting up Planer Knives was also used in recent e-mail promotion for new knives. You could send your whole knife/bearing assembly to Shopsmith, and they'll do the setup.
