I do have a 50-760. The 1st time I turned it on in my little shop, my entire family came running down stairs to see the jet that landed in the basement.

Luckily, I was able to put a 3X4 shed outside the shop, but it cost a 5-inch hole in the wall to get to it.

On the upside, I have been able to ...

Mark is a pretty inventive guy, huh?
I can sorta see why Kreg doesn't market it, though. Their miter gauge is extremely accurate as checked with the Miterset. http://miterset.home.comcast.net/~miterset/index.html But, that would be a great addition to anyone's tool box. As would that iGAGE thingie ...

I was practicing scroll sawing straight lines using some oak pallet wood scraps. The piece of wood was ca. 4" wide, 1/2" thick, with ca. 1/8 " cup. I had the two edges flat on the table, and was sawing with the grain. Everything was working fine until the last 1/4" of cut, when the saw blade just ...

Found a use for my scrap pieces.

A few months ago - some One-Way Chucks and Teknatool Nova2 chucks were on sale and I got the Nova2.

I turned a couple of wine goblets with it, and then cut some rings out of a poplar board and turned a small bowl - unfortunately, poplar is a little soft and it was too easy to cut right through the ...

I have the Carter bearings and for mostly straight cuts they are good. If you do a lot of resawing, they are great. They do help hold the blade straighter than I've experienced with cool blocks. I have never tried the ceramic blocks.

The Carter bearings are expensive, I've seen them at the Wood ...
