I went 80 miles to pick up a short for 150 today. But the best part I guess was I saw on CL an guy had a band saw on a dedicated power station for 150 on the way. That one slipped by me. I am not driving all over the state of Florida buying cheap Shopsmiths now. Only when they are super cheap like this one. I check Ebay almost every day so do not under stand how I missed it. I only do Craig's List a couple times a week. It wasnt up for long, i saw it at work...

300 bucks for a 80s model 500 with jigsaw, beltsander, jointer, strip sander, planer, and bandsaw? It was a little beat up looking but if I were in FL I would have been all over it!

nice, does the 10ER have an advantage over a Mark V as a drill press? I see a lot of folks around here using them in the dedicated drill or lathe mode and the concensus seems to be that it is a better lathe.
