Actually, I'm not sure that plywood in the cone will work. Especially, if it makes it too rigid the squirrel may well be able to get on top. The idea of the loose cone is that it flops around which causes the little rat to slip off :eek:

Although with eBay you get it pretty much right away, while with SS sometimes it takes weeks so if you dont want to wait.......

I also am holding off installing my new casters (because of the issues noted above). I would like to install them with the same clearence as the original ones. So, would that be 1 3/8"???

It comes down to this, everybody needs a firewall and virus protection. If you know you have both turned on then your protected. If you dont know then you need someone (grandkids?) to set them up for you.

Sadly, this always seems to degress into a debate on the pros and cons of various ...

Ish, if you dont find a taker let me know, I live in the Chicago area too, and I would be happy to pick it up and put it to good use.

OMG! turn it inside out! too funny ......... I guess that beats my plan B though: to flip the bandsaw, and buy a Powerpro so I could run it in reverse!

Sorry, I neglected to say it is a 1/2" 3TPI blade.

I received this blade with a Bandsaw purchase I made. The teeth(?) are slanted to the RIGHT ?.... all my other blades the teeth are slanted to the LEFT!.

Can someone tell me the purpose for this blade?
