After doing much searching on reviews, I settled for the Infinity Dadonator 6". It was on sale and it has been a great!! Cut is very accurate and flat bottom. having the 6 tooth chippers makes the cuts smooth.

Has anyone used a 8" dadoe blade set with the shopsmith?
What do you recommend for a great dadoe blade seet (6 or 8")?
I noticed using the shopsmith one does not leave flat bottom dadoes.
Looking for one with a negative hook design as that seems best.

Thanks for the tips. I will try the Locktite and check the set screw as I wans't sure if the set screw held in the square key or not.
I will let you know if this works.

Sorry forgot to say that this is on the upper pulley not the lower one.

I have a planer on it's own powerstand and the square key (ref #110 on the parts lits) has come out twice now.
has anyone had this problem and/or do you know if there is a trick to get it to stay?
