Re: looking for help pricing a Mark VII to sell

Also look at Craigslist and Facebook Market Place for Shopsmith and Shop Smith, both spellings, to see what the average price is in your area. Prices vary a lot depending on what is available and how many accessories come with the machine. Just in the Cedar Rapids area of Iowa there are a couple of ...

Re: Baking center

I have been thinking a lot about a mini-split for the garage this summer! It's been seriously hot, and this is normally my favorite room. Did you do any insulating? Around here, garages have little if any insulation. Your project is looking great! - David My garage was fully insulated when I bought...

It makes working on projects so much nicer than in the heat. I really need to get this finished as the fruit is getting ripe and I want the counter space to wor...

Re: Using a Shop Smith Mark V on a Chris Craft Roamer refit

Actually this is the way many of the schematics were written from the '40's,'50's and '60's that I have seen. I am not sure when the writing was changed to distinguish between an I and a 1 but all of the older schematics I worked with did not.

Re: Using a Shop Smith Mark V on a Chris Craft Roamer refit

Could the notes actually say 1N1692 instead of IN1692? 1N1692 is a recognized rectifier diode part number.
