It's been a while since I posted, but I sure use the info you guys share. Thank you!

Has anybody used 3/4" Black Steel Pipe like the box stores sell? The OD is 1.05", and the price is very low. $11.95 for 6 Ft length at Home Depot.

If you've used it, have there been any problems ...

I guess I'm out of the "unobtainable replacement parts" business. It was such a promising future...

Here's where I'm at today:

I will check with my shop manager and see if we can't re-work a couple of 3/4" deep-well 3/8" sockets. There's enough metal to get the dimensions we need and already have 3/8" square bore.

Already have the sockets; OD and 3/8" are perfect. Test fitted them on one of my ...
