It needs a bit more sanding in the corners, but overall it assembled nicely.
Wife likes the raw wood look..so I wont be staining/polyu until a later date , if ever.

Re: Band Saw Adapter to 4" Vac
Hey RFGuy - I am contemplating for the lower saw guard and the jointer as well.
I'd like to be off the 2" adapter everywhere if its possible, though Im not sure all of these will be possible.
I hadn't seen that video from Scott-thanks for the link !

Re: Band Saw Adapter to 4" Vac
I finally had some time to run the bandsaw with the new 4" adapter. This is after a weekend of on and off use , not heavy use but typical of my work loads. I think the 4" adapter is doing a much better job than was the 2" adapter which showed alot more accumulation in the nooks and cr...

Re: Simple project advice
Thanks for being interested Ed ! I don't know what type of wood, it was a 2x4 I had in my attic for 2 years. Some kind of pine from HomeDepot. To make the decorative edge is pretty easy. I made 2 passes on the tablesaw at the blade width and 3/4 depth (non thru cut). This skimmed the 2 edges creatin...

Re: Simple project advice
I've done a few picture frames over the years using just the miter gauge which came with my SS. As others have said, pay particular attention to getting the very closest to a 45deg as you can. For me, this is done in a few steps. 1) Bandsaw alignment (tilt and fence alignment). I use the bandsaw bec...

Band Saw Adapter to 4" Vac
I have always been annoyed that my 4" dust collector tube requires reduction to 2" for the Shopsmith Accessories. Not that i think this is limiting the dust collection, but I didn't like needing 4" to 2" adaption . I figured I'd start with the easy one and convert the bandsaw ada...

Re: Moxon Vice for Mark V
Thank you - I was wondering if you had utilized the shopsmith bracket for the extension table (shown below).
Is there a reason you opted for an epoxy joint, perhaps the width of one jaw of the vice isn't wide enough to accommodate
these brackets?

Re: Moxon Vice for Mark V
I like it. Looking forward to the build pics, I was wondering how you mounted the tubes to the stationary block (bottom side) .
