The pulleys needed adjustment so that is fixed. Thanks again for all of the help.

This is my Dad's shopsmith that he used when I was growing up. He died in 1980 and it has sat silent in my mom's garage. Overhaul is done and thanks to this forum with some questions that I had it is working great. The owners manual saids 1952 and it is a 10-ER.

Still working on how to post pictures

Have new belt and end of pulleys heat up some. Is this normal for a new belt or should I adjust the tension? This is a 10-ER shopsmith.

Just finished my dad's shopsmith. The owners manual is dated 1952.
Hope I uploaded the pictures right.

Need an attaching bolt for my belt guard. Anyone know what size bolt it is. The owners manual doesn't give the size.
