They are back in the machine, so I cannot measure, but I agree 10mm is awfully short. I will order and give it a try. Thanks for the help.

Power cord inside headstock
I am replacing the quill feed mechanism and noticed that the power line was running over the feed assembly which seems to put some stress on the line. Is this the normal path for the line or can it be below the quill feed?
