bandsaw blade speed

I have a power pro and need to know what blade speed is a the low RPM of 250 set on the power pro head. I need to cut some metal.

Doesn't the PowerPro already know all those speed settings?

About 720 feet per minute.

Pi (3.14) time the diameter (11 inches) times 250 = 8635 divided by 12 = 719.58

I was not aware the power pro head computer gave me the blade speed of the band in the bandsaw. So i go and look

OK Then it looks like a speed reducer is in order to get me blade speed down to a low of 100 FPM

It doesn't. But it does set rpm according to the type of work you are setting up for.

Sorry for the sarcasm. It must be a bit of jealousy (and poor character).

Can the speed reducer be mounted on the left side of the power head the side opposite the sliding quell??

I saved this from another post but no recollection from who. Maybe the search function might find it. I seem to recall Nick Engler explained how.
EDIT: when all else fails.....check the Owners Manual: pg18/19 in Speed Reducer Manual shows how. You swap the drive hub and the white plastic female connector(called a "special coupler") on the speed reducer.
