I will have to look in my box of ER parts to see if I have any extra knurled head screws. I know I have extra quill feed handles and the knurled head screws that hold the belt cover on. I will let you know if I find any.heathicus wrote:Unfortunately, I'm missing that knurled head screw on both of my ERs. I've been trying to find one, but haven't had any luck.

If you do, and can part with it, that would be great! How long is the knurled head screw that holds the belt cover on? I received one with my machine that was about 1/2" long, but the threads are messed up on it. I could only find a 3/4" replacement at Lowes and I had to use a few washers with it. But even the 1/2" looks too long to snug down on the pulley cover without a washer or two.SDSSmith wrote:I will have to look in my box of ER parts to see if I have any extra knurled head screws. If it helps, a local hardware store here in the LA area claims to have a large selection of hardware -- the claim being that if it's still made, they'll have it (or something along those lines).. They've always had any nuts/bolts/screws I've been looking for over the years.. Anyway, anyone got a photo of one of these -- I could always stop by if I know what it looks like? If you want, you could call too.. Their contact info is :

This would be an excellent time to post some pix to illustrate who has what and what it looks like!;) Pix tend to include what we overlook describing with words.

OK! They be thumbscrews! This would be a good time to let screw size(diameter-threads/inch x length) enter this thread.
