I realized today that I'm also missing the depth adjustment knob.
Overall I still need a blade guard, coupler hub, support tubes, and the depth adjuster knob.

The cut/scrape on my hand caused by the corner of a cutter is healing nicely. In a related thought I've decided to go with the updated safety cover/featherboard. Routers, shapers, and jointers have always made me just a touch nervous - probably a good thing.

Thank you! I think it actually looks a bit better than the pics because there is zero rust remaining & for some reason it looks otherwise in the pics.
As for rust removal: I tried the electrolisis method overnight on the upper plate, and although it bubbled, my results were poor. I think my vat was sub-optimal.
Small parts & the fence got a bath in evapo-rust. The unsuccessful table & its brother were given my tried & true rust removal method: a combination of wire brush, steel wool, emery paper, and scotchbrite pads powered by elbow grease and the occasional dremel tool.
A couple particularly nasty nuts were replaced from my junk box. I opted for a dark grey Rustoleum hammered finish. I am MUCH happier with the dark than I was with a silver hammered I tried earlier this year.
To me the dark grey looks better than the original battleship grey, even though the jointer is sorta shaped like a battleship to begin with (and weighs nearly as much),

I always think of an Aircraft Carrier when looking at the jointer!;)
