Post by onevw »

Anybody have and willing to sell the setting jigs that came with the 520 upgrade ?
The mark5 I bought came with the upgraded 520 table system with magnetic strip and I need to aline the system.

I know I can get them from Shopsmith but somebody may have a set they do not need anymore.

They really are not a necessity. The objective, when using them, is to get all rails set at the same position relative to the top of the table. Any spacer that does that works as well as does the official gauge. My gauge sets the rail .406" below the table surface. Remember, the dimension is not critical. It is, however, important that the rail displacements at all points be the same dimension.
