Dust Collector

I am looking for suggestions on the easiest way to clean the cloth filter bag on dust collectors? I have used air, & beat it with a broom.

Price Question

What would be a fair price for the following shopsmith I found?
I am told it was bought in 1979, Mark V Model 500, has a 6in belt sander, 11in bandsaw, table saw, 4in jointer, lathe attachments and misc. accessories. Not sure what to offer.

Thanks!

Still learning

I am still learning about my shopsmith. If I invert the headstock to use it as a drill press what is used as a rest/table?
