today in my shop (spt storage project)

I don't even have them all built yet and here is my first change. I've already mentioned it but lets put some pictures to those words.

When mounting the stand to the shopsmith I have used a 5/16 -18 bolt, my in-stock size was 3-1/2" while shorter might have been better I used what I have already spent money on.

Those nuts are just hand tightened so no need for a wrench, but it could be a better situation. There are various names for these items but what they are is a plastic knob that fits the bolt head thus making them threaded knob. They come in various sizes and various forms. The ones pictured I got at a surplus store for $.35 ea.

I didn't get to work on the project today, outings to the post office, science and surplus store, sub way and then lowes for a shopsmith demo... and a few other things thrown in.

I was just downloading the images off my camera and I found this "last" picture of the set. I have 5 larger ones and 1 smaller one finished, thus concluding this project.
