spindle alignment

Is there any lasting way to align the spindle and tail stop. The eccentric collar seem to move. Please advise.
Thanks

Carriage replacement

Hi Guys,

How do I replace a carriage? I bought a 510 carriage and table to install on my Mark V but I do not know how to get the old carriage off and the new one on. Help appreciated.
